Find your inner calm - blog quickie ...
The next time that you feel stressed or anxious apply this breathing technique it will help you to drop your shoulders and relax… It’s so simple and worth the seconds it takes.
I am avid Yogini (male is Yogi). I love yoga and I practice it most days. This simple technique is a yoga breathing method that I like to call ‘5,5,5 breathing’ It is quick and simple and you can do it anywhere. Honestly even while your boss is annoying you ;) (Those of you who have annoying bosses that is.)
We all get harassed or overwhelmed and this simple action will ground you and bring you back to your calm.
How to do the 5,5,5 breathing technique
Method 1: Breathe in for a count of five, then hold your breath for a count of five and breathe out through your mouth for a count of five. Aaaaaaah and chill ...
Method 2: Close your eyes and breathe in for a count of five, hold your breath for a count of five and breathe out through your mouth for a count of five. Aaaaaaah relax (for when you are not driving or engaged in a pursuit that needs your vision and focus.)
This action will:
Calm your system
Re-focus you
Release tension that you may hold in your shoulders and neck
Create space and a moment to pause
You can repeat this technique whenever you need to, it’s a quick and simple and can help when the world is throwing moments of chaos.
Enjoy. Stay chilled and relaxed in times of crazy…
